MEDICAL GRAND ROUNDS - SEPTEMBER 10 - FAIRCHILD - 8:00 a.m.

Patients presented by the Stanford Medical Group: Laura Nicholson, Tom Bates, and Rex Chiu

In addition to providing the luxury of longitudinal care of patients, being a primary care physician these days assures a doc of having the first opportunity to make the right diagnosis of illness. There is little doubt that nothing saves health care dollars as well as an astute primary care physician who can: (a) make the correct diagnosis of serious as well as common and benign illnesses early and correctly, and then, (b) coordinate care so that the patient is given medically (not politically) correct management.

Our SMG docs are good at the above. Come hear about their experiences with 3 interesting patients.
