"Eating Disorders" by Regina Casper - Professor of Psychiatry
Dr. Casper brings a wealth of experience from many places - especially Stanford and the University of Chicago - about the multiple forms and different geneses of the manner in which both young and older people abuse themselves by what they take in their mouths each day. These problems, eating disorders, are not going away simply by our knowing they exist. Indeed, the more sensitive we as physicians are to their diagnoses, the more we recognise them. The keys are: the earlier the diagnosis and beginnings of therapy ... the better the outcome.
