MEDICAL GRAND ROUNDS - MAY 7, 1998, FAIRCHILD, 8:00 a.m.
Return of the graduate .... We are very pleased that LAURA ESSERMAN, M.D., Assistant Professor of Surgery at UCSF and Director of a multi-departmental Breast Cancer program there will give grand rounds on relevant, current clinical and basic science aspects of this disease.
Dr. Esserman received her M.D. from Stanford and has been president of the Stanford Medical Alumni Association. She was an intern, resident, and Chief Resident in Surgery at Stanford, and did fundamental research for two years in Ron Levy's laboratory.
Some of you may remember her acting and directing skills in the 1988 Student/Faculty original musical "Phantom of the Operon." Come welcome her back (if only for a day).
