MEDICAL GRAND ROUNDS, JANUARY 22, FAIRCHILD, 8:00 a.m.
**** Saul Rosenberg ****
Yes, those are stars surrounding his name, because no member of the faculty in Medicine deserves star status more than Saul. He represents, in many ways, the best of what Stanford Medicine is and what it should aspire to be. Saul represents integrity, vision, energy, compassion and determination.
Using his vision (linked with that of Henry Kaplan) Saul Rosenberg set out to develop the finest diagnosis and treatment center for lymphoma in the world. In addition to vision it took tough adherence to process, to the etiquette of referral and consultation, to the discipline of being complete, to total honesty in classification and analyses of treatment, and to a wonderful instinct for recognition of excellence in young faculty and trainees.
Well, he did it! Excellence and Lymphoma are inextricably linked at Stanford.....
Come hear Dr. Rosenberg speak about Lymphoma at Grand Rounds. . . .
