We heard from Brandy Sicic several weeks ago about new and supplemental therapies for malignancies. The advances in this field have been and continue to be first rate. Of special importance in therapeutic strategies for cancer are adjunctive treatments, those that amplify standard ones and add little or no toxicity.
ALAN YUEN will give details of one of thes: PHOTODYNAMIC TREATMENT OF CANCER. For those of you who don't know, Alan was one of finest residents a few years back, and has completed his Oncology Fellowship here at Stanford. I especially remember Alan for his willingness to spend time helping in concrete and meaningful ways one of his fellow residents, who really needed help!
