GEORGE M. SEGALL, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the PAVAH. As you know, there are many things that the VA has that we at the main campus do not. Lithotripsy is one, but more relevant to Thursday PET SCANNING is another. Dr. Segall will bring us up to date on PET scanning. Sufficient time has lapsed between its arrival on the biomedical research and practice scene to enable it to have its proper niche. What is it, how does it work, when is it indicated, and what can be done with it?
