Groupies

K.Flay, one of Stanford’s finest female rap artists, has a diverse following of fans on campus and beyond. While the real K.Flay does not have an entourage consisting of a back up dancer, the best friend, and the creepy stalker (some may argue otherwise), Groupies is a short mockumentary that explores the attention-hungry types of people that fame often attracts. The fictional characters in this mockumentary, much like the groupies that follow music artists and celebrities in popular culture today, feed off of and thrive on a celebrity status that is not their own.
