Shot in HD at locations across the Western United States including San Francisco, Las Vegas and the open deserts of Utah, "Overloaded" presents a pensive portrait of one man's changing relationships with his wife, his job, and his own perspective on the world. Martin Hurley is a 38-year old long haul trucker from Ireland caught between the opposing worlds of his wife's corporate lifestyle and the intense loneliness of the highway. In order to discover his place in the world, Martin must overcome his protective habits and turn his attention outward or remain trapped by the circumstances of his life.
