Mission

To create a cross-cultural network among students and professionals who are interested in development issues in Southeast Asia and to nurture young leaders in the local community.

Organization

Supported by the Southeast Asian Leadership Initiative (SALI), a 501©(3) non-profit based in San Francisco, SEALNet is an official student group at Stanford.

History

SEALNet was founded in 2004 by a group of Stanford students with the guidance of SALI leaders. Since its inception, SEALNet has successfully implemented Project Vietnam 2005 with the support of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Singapore International Foundation, Stanford University, and various corporations in the U.S. and in Europe.
