Stanford, California, August 6 - 9, 2008

The Summer 2008 meeting of the Research Committee on Social Stratification and Mobility (RC28) of the International Sociological Association (ISA) will be held at Stanford University (California, USA) from August 6-9.

The summer meeting is organized by Paula England, Mark Granovetter, David Grusky, Michael Rosenfeld, Rebecca Sandefur, C. Matthew Snipp, Jesper Sorensen, Nancy Tuma, Andrew Walder, and Xueguang Zhou.

The student organizing committee of the Stanford conference includes Esra Burak, Erin Cumberworth, Alison Fogarty, Manwai (Candy) Ku, Asaf Levanon, Yan E. Li, Yujia Liu, Laura Lopez-Sanders, Ivo Petev, Emily Ryo, Frank Samson, and Emily Shafer.
