INTERNATIONAL SOCIOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION
RESEARCH COMMITTEE ON SOCIAL
STRATIFICATION AND MOBILITY (RC28)

WORK, POVERTY, AND INEQUALITY IN THE 21st CENTURY
Stanford, California, August 6 - 9, 2008

DATES: August 6 - 9, 2008

The meeting will begin at 5pm on Wednesday, August 6th with cocktails and registration. Regular and poster sessions will start at 8am on Thursday.

The conference dinner is scheduled for Friday evening.

The meetings will end on Saturday at 5:30pm with a wine and cheese reception.

As part of the conference, we are working to provide a tour of the Google campus in Mountain View on August 8th, and we will also be offering tours of the Stanford campus as well as wine tasting tours. All tours, save the wine tasting tour, are included in the registration fee.

We take this opportunity to remind participants that paper presenters are expected to remain for the duration of the conference. The RC28 culture frowns upon the present-and-leave strategy. (This is not the American Sociological Association!)
