Internships on the Stanford Community Farm
The Stanford Community Farm hopes to provide paid internships for students who are interested in learning about organic farming and promoting sustainable agriculture on campus.
A Farm intern would have a wide variety of responsibilities: maintaining the farm, tending plots during the summer, coordinating farm activities such as workshops, and acting as a liaison between the Farm and the rest of the Stanford community. Farm interns will also be key to the success of the plan to close the campus food loop.
There is quite a bit of work to be done on the farm, and we have plenty of enthusiasts; we just need the funds to make this plan a reality. If you know of a way we can get funding for the internship program, please contact us!
