arc programs

The ARC initiative seeks to develop and support programs on Asian religions and cultures in three general areas: scholarly communication, academic resources, and public awareness.

Current development efforts focus on three initiatives:

  • arc/china. A joint project of ARC and the Department of Religious Studies to build resources for the study of Chinese religions at Stanford.
  • arc/south asia. A joint project of ARC and the Department of Religious Studies to build resources for the study of South Asian religions and cultures at Stanford.
  • arc/tibet. A project of the Committee for Tibetan Studies to build resources for the study of Tibetan religions and cultures at Stanford.

Inquiries on these initiatives should be directed to:
ARC Associate Director Wendy Abraham: wabraham@stanford.edu.
