Welcome to Scandinavians at Stanford (SaS)
Scandinavians at Stanford is an
association for Stanford students with interest in the Scandinavian
countries and Scandinavian culture.
The association organizes cultural

| Fall BBQ Saturday November 15
Join us as we enjoy what may be the last of the good weather on Saturday, November 15, at 4 pm at the Studio 5-6 BBQ pits. With any luck, we'll have a sunny afternoon to enjoy delicious Fred burgers, drinks and snacks.

Mailing List
The official Scandinavians at Stanford mailing list is called "skandinaver" and
is run on the Stanford mailing list server lists.stanford.edu. To send e-mail to
the list, just use the address skandinaver@lists.stanford.edu.
To join the list:
- If you are a Stanford Student, go to
https://mailman.stanford.edu/mailman/listinfo/skandinaver. Enter your
email address and press the "Subscribe" button. A new page should appear
telling you that your subscription request has been received.
- If you do not have a valid SUID, simply send an email to skandinaver-join@lists.stanford.edu.
All Stanford students who are subscribed to the mailing list are counted as
members of the association. Others are of course also welcome to subscribe to
the mailing list, and are considered to be affiliates of the association. |

Sports
|
In the past, the Scandinavians at Stanford organized regular soccer practices and games with other student organizations. This year, we could like to organize club sports together with the European Association. If you are interested in playing volleyball, soccer, land hockey or some other team sport with us, please email adelab@stanford.edu. Depending on interest, these could be regular or sparse events, perhaps announced through a separate mailing list that we would create.
