gilbert Stanford Savoyards sullivan

Our History

The Stanford Savoyards have presented the light operas of Gilbert and Sullivan and other shows on the Stanford University campus since 1973. We produce two fully-staged musicals with orchestra per season, with runs of four or five performances in November and April or May.

We are affiliated with the Associated Students of Stanford University . Our membership includes students, faculty, staff and alumni of Stanford as well as the surrounding community. Anybody so inclined is welcome and encouraged to try out for our shows or to contribute in any way to our theatrical exploits.

For more information on Gilbert and Sullivan check out the Wikipedia article. You can also visit the Gilbert and Sullivan Archive at Boise State.
