SAID is looking for students interested in foreign aid to speak at an upcoming event. If you've taken a class on foreign aid, if you have work experience that brought you in contact with foreign aid, or if you just feel strongly about aid, please email saidevents@gmail.com . Let us know what you want to speak about and what background you have (if any) with this topic.
We will choose 4-5 students who will give prepared remarks at the beginning of the event. After this, Prof. Krasner will respond to your arguments and evidence. At the end of his comments we will open the floor for questions.
This event will take place on the evening of May 31, location TBA.
Note that we're leaving this quite open-ended. If you believe we should do away with foreign aid, don't hesitate to contact us. We're looking for a variety of perspectives - just be sure you have some evidence to back up what you say.
