ETA-Martha Lilia Alvarez

My name is Martha Lilia Alvarez and I am a sophomore from Lompoc, California planning on majoring in Sociology and Urban Studies. I am very lonely down at the end of the hall, so please come visit me. I tend to be shy at first, but once I get to know someone really well, I am very outgoing. I like to hang out with my friends as well as have time for myself. Although I was born in California, I was raised in Jalisco, México from ages 4 to 9. I love México and it holds a very, very special place in my heart (I always look forward to visiting my grandparents and friends during Christmas break and sometimes summer).

I'm usually smiling and laughing (if I'm not, something is wrong). Little things make me happy (especially any kind of surprises). Even though I am not a great dancer, I LOVE to dance. I enjoy watching movies and listening to music. I love candy (especially Reece's cups and butterfingers). Since I am a HUGE procrastinator (something I will definately work on this year...not really), I cherish whatever sleep I can get. Although I took swimming lessons & still can't swim, I love the beach (nice for running or peaceful walks)! I love the outdoors, the rain (and gorgeous CA sunny weather), and anything sweet...
