HPAC-Lizet Ocampo

Lizet is a senior majoring in Political Science and Co-terming in Social Sciences in Education.  She is from the town with the best high school rodeo in the nation, Maxwell, CA.  You haven’t heard of it?  It is not by LA or in Texas.  This is Lizet’s third year in Zapata.  Her freshman year, Lizet was voted most likely to live in Zapata all four years…she almost made it.  Among Lizet’s play lists are Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Maná, Juanes, and most importantly Mariachi Cardenal de Stanford.  She likes to write down random lyrics from songs.  Every life has a soundtrack.  Her favorite foods include chocolate and broccoli, but not together.  She enjoys talking about life, love, and chocolate.  You will probably here Lizet try to convince you that you must watch Children of Heaven and Sandlot, two of her favorite movies.  Among her heroes is Charles Houston.  She likes to take pictures of most things.  Ask her about her picture with Pharrell.  As much as people try to convince her otherwise, Lizet still likes to be on time.  Simple things make her happy.  She likes it when people visit her, especially if they have any questions about academics and taking advantage of all of Stanford’s opportunities.
