Gelato Classico offers an authentic taste of Italy for a really great value. Located next to Left at Albequerque's and across from the Aquarius Theatre, this sliver of a shop has been serving great gelato for many years. Their gelato is creamy delicious, try the stracciatella (chocolate chip) or the nocciola (hazelnut). Gelato Classico also offers a couple of fruity flavors including the delectable passion fruit. Overall there are about 20 flavors to choose from and I've yet to try one I didn't like. The shop is an excellent place to take your date for an after dinner rendevous and will surely score you a couple extra points. The Italian owned shop provides good service, but the place can be busy at times. A regular sized gelato goes for $3.40, if you show your Stanford ID you'll receive a 10% discount on your order. - Brad Griffith
