Leaving February 28th, the first two cars of Kasia, Evonne, Elise, Geremy, and Albert trekked to the land that is Big Sur. Setting up at a campsite in Pheiffer Big Sur State Park, we dined finely that evening (we brought mushrooms – yeah, we ate like Gods).
And as the sun set that night, the other car of sketchy graduate students arrived with Paul, Diederik, Ken, and Neal. Fortunately, they were not too sketchy. They ended up only hitting on their co-graduate student, Geremy. He evidently liked it.
The next morning, we awoke bright and early to prepare breakfast and to pack up for the hike ahead. Despite the strange and inefficient mannerisms of the three leaders, the group still succeeded in securing permits, and making the short 2 minute drive to the trailhead. And the adventure began... On the way, we saw some pretty flowers:

But after a while, we finally found a nice campsite in the evening. After setting up tents, we elbowed our way into two of the hot springs that we found. And that’s when the fun really began…
And the next day was history. We kissed some banana slugs. We came home. We ate In and Out. And all was well. The trip couldn’t have been any more perfect. Another good job by the Charlie Angels on the trip. Helllloo Charlie...
