This Spring, the show is "Thorough Modern Millie," synopsis below: It's the Roaring Twenties!! Jazz is bursting onto the scene, class barriers are dissolving, and gender roles are being turned on their ears. Against this backdrop of faster cars and shorter skirts, small-town Millie Dillmount comes to New York City hoping to learn how the other half lives. But what starts out as a bold declaration of independence quickly turns into a whirlwind of money, romance, kidnapping, and tap-dancing stenographers, all leading to hilarious hijinks and a surprise ending that could happen only in New York! Tickets are originally $10 for students plus handling fee, but Rains residents get a ticket for only $5! Only 20 tickets available, so RSVP soon by sending an e-mail to CircleK (kmurthy@stanford.edu). See http://www.modmillie.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.
