Watch Demolition Man on movie night - you know you want to. Wednesday 12/05/2007 at 9:00pm CA Contact: John (tenhoeve@stanford.edu) This week's movie is Demolition Man, starring Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, and Sandra Bullock. The hero, Stallone, is a cop who is brought out of cryogenic stasis in prison in order to pursue an ultra-violent nemesis from the past (Snipes) who is loose in a non-violent future society. Stallone reluctantly solicits the help of a cop from the future (Bullock) who helps him acclimate to a society he has no knowledge about. This movie has it all - drama, violence, love, as well as thought-provoking philosophical overtones. Demolition Man is definitely the must-see-movie of the winter. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.
