Tuesday 10/02/2007 at 7:30pm CA Contact: Adam (agrossma@stanford.edu) Due to the amazing popularity of this last year, Rains will once again be organising a series of West Coast Swing classes this fall. We will be having both a beginner and intermediate class, one after the other, followed by free open dancing for all who want to join us. Classes will be $25 for the entire 9-week series ($20 for Rains residents). Class will run every Tuesday night starting October 2 and going until the end of term with a week off for Thanksgiving. The beginner class will start at 7:30pm, and assumes no prior dancing experience. Then there will be a 30 min break from 8:30-9pm, featuring open dancing for beginners to practice, intermediates to warm up, and everybody to learn from each other. The intermediate class will run from 9:00-10:00pm. Those who felt comfortable with the beginner class last spring, and those familiar with the basic patterns (push break/sugar push, underarm turns, basic/basket/lock whips, starter step) may register for the intermediate class. After the intermediate class, all are invited to join us for free open dancing until you feel like your feet are going to fall off! There will be plenty of water and snacks to keep you fueled. Registration instructions: Beginner class - email Christina at cmester@stanford.edu Intermediate class - email Adam at agrossma@stanford.edu In either case, please include your name, email address, Rains apartment number, and whether you will be a leader or follower. Leaders are traditionally men and followers are traditionally women, although this is not a strict division. If you are new to the dance, normally pick male = leader and female = follower. Guests are welcome, but the fee will be $25 instead of $20. Please include the names and emails of your guests as well. Cheques made payable to Rains Houses will be due at the first class. The classes will fill up quickly, so be sure to get your emails in asap! Rains residents and one guest get priority for only 2 days before we open registration to the entire campus. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Instead of admitting his guilt, the detective is given an unexpected alibi, but this "solution" only multiplies the emotional complexity and guilt over his partner's death. He's also still got a murder to solve, in addition to the blackmail and framing of an innocent bystander being orchestrated by the man they were chasing. There's also a local detective (Swank) who is conducting her own personal investigation... of his partner's death. Will it all come crashing down on him?
