Having created a name and an enviable standard in the United States, Raagapella is now seeking to make its next big step. In continuing with our phenomenal progress, we seek to go back to our roots and do a tour of South Asia, performing to audiences across the subcontinent. As musical ambassadors from the United States, we seek to create a musical connection with South Asia, grow and learn while making our mark and expressing our unique perspective.

In late June 2008, Raagapella will embark on this landmark tour to South Asia, covering Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad in India. On this tour, we will reach out to large audiences through performances at various venues, including charity concerts, public shows, colleges, businesses, television and radio shows.

Institute (CFTRI) is housed in a heritage mansion. The spacious campus with its greenery and scenic beauty is very impressive. The auditorium can accommodate up to 500 people. Invitations and publicity are being handled in both Kannada and English. Wide media advertisements will take place throughout the colleges and the city. Stanford Raagapella comes to Mysore by special invitation, and the group is overjoyed with the opportunity to perform for a warmhearted community among picturesque surroundings.

Details: The Infosys Bangalore Campus spans over 40 acres and is the most spectacular commercial development in Electronic City. Infosys is one of the fast-growing Indian outsourcing company that is overtaking its rivals. Stanford Raagapella will perform for an audience of international employees, who are passionate about Indian music.

Details: Stanford Raagapella will meet with the major radio and TV stations based in Hyderabad. The ensemble will speak about their music and their mission. Performances will be aired live, and recordings will be broadcasted in the future as part of special radio and TV programming.

Details: As part of Stanford Raagapella's mission, the group will donate a performance in Hyderabad, and proceeds will benefit local charities. The group is especially glad to have the opportunity to give back to the country, which provided the foundation for Raagapella's music.

Details: Jaya TV is one of the largest TV networks in the state of Tamil Nadu. Stanford Raagapella will record segments to be aired as part of special programming. The musicians will also be interviewed regarding fusion music and experiences as young Indian-Americans in the United States.

Details: Stanford Raagapella will be donating the proceeds of the final appearance in the India Tour. The funds will go toward basic education, health care, and housing for the poor. Giving back to India through this charitable performance will be a nice conclusion to the excitement of the India Tour.
