Welcome

The Product Realization Network, a joint project between the School of Engineering and Graduate School of Business at Stanford, is dedicated to enriching the product realization education at Stanford through immersive experiences with the manufacturing and design world. Our goal is to produce better designers, engineers and managers who have comprehensive understanding of the entire product realization process.

At the core of the Product Realization Network at Stanford (PRN) is a group of faculty, staff, industry professionals and community "gurus" dedicated to educating students about the creation of products and the organizations that make them possible.

The PRN engages individuals from across the spectrum of the product realization community - undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, alumni, members of the community of practice, consultants and non-profit groups. This diversity of viewpoints and input creates a vibrant network of people passionate about how products get made and are supported.

The PRN's main offering to the Stanford community is the PRN Certificate in Product Creation and Innovative Manufacturing. This Certificate is available both to students on campus and to the distance education community through the Stanford Center for Professional Development.

The Product Realization Network would like to thank the following Industry Partners for their support of the product realization process at Stanford:

Airtronics Genentech General Foundry
Heath Ceramics Logitech Medconx
Nila Pendaran Raytheon
Speck Design Wright Engineered Plastics
