Ed received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Arizona State University in 2012. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. His research interests include ultra-low power mixed-signal on-chip processors for medical devices and signal processing. Ed hopes to one day fulfill the shared dream of creating intelligent, implantable micro/nano-scale intelligent robots for medicine.
Between 2008-2012, Ed was with the Flexible Display Center at the ASU Research Park designing low-noise, stable integrated circuits (specifically imagers) on amorphous silicon.
He received both the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and the Stanford Graduate Fellowship in 2012. He is a Goldwater Scholar recipient.
