Printing
to the PSCL Printer
in the Graduate Student Lounge
Thanks to Simon, a networked printer is located in the graduate student
lounge. You should be able to print to it from any computer in Encina.
If you are running any flavor of Windows, the basic instructions are these:
- Download PCL6
drivers for the HP LaserJet 4200dtn to your desktop. Expand the
driver files into a directory on your hard drive.
- Change your Windows workgroup to "STANFORD".
- Install the printer at \\brisbane\PSCL_4200dtn. (The printer is
served from brisbane.stanford.edu.) When prompted for a printer driver,
click on "Have Disk..." and select the directory containing
the drvier files that you downloaded in Step 1.
