Founded at Stanford University on December 18, 1891, the California Beta Chapter of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity is the oldest fraternity on campus and has a strong tradition of honor, high ideals, and gentlemanly conduct.

California Beta Wins 3rd Grand Chapter Award!

Over the summer at the Phi Kappa Psi Woodrow Wilson Leadership School, our Stanford Chapter was awarded the Grand Chapter Award for 2007 for the third time by our national organization! This means that Cal Beta best represents our brotherhood's ideals of community service, academic excellence and good citizenship. A special thanks goes out to all of the members that have helped make our chapter stand out, exemplfying our motto: "The Great Joy of Serving Others."

Rush is the time in which we get to know new people and consider asking them to join our fraternity. Phi Psi supports an open rush, which helps to make the process of meeting people more natural.
