What's NEW in perinatal prevention?1) Clea Sarnquist has replaced Liz Montgomery at Stanford (Liz has relocated to Zimbabwe and can be reached by e-mail at liz@uz-ucsf.co.zw). Some links that may help with this process include: CDC's National Prevention Information Network--searchable database of educational materials and publications (videos, posters, brochures). California AIDS Clearinghouse - Disseminates and develops culturally appropriate education materials (brochures, videos, training kits) free of charge to California counties. AIDS Education and Training Center--Provides expert training to clinicians throughout the State on HIV/ AIDS prevention and treatment issues. Has provider hotline for more information. Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs--has a database of educational materials for MCH and HIV/ AIDS. HIVInsite: Best overall site for information on everything pertaining to HIV/ AIDS: epidemiology, virology, trends, prevention, policy information, drugs and treatment, etc. CDC
National AIDS Clearinghouse: Has CDC information on HIV/AIDS and
related topics.
