about the pdp lab

The PDP, or Parallel Distributed Processing, lab is located in the Stanford Psychology Department. We study all aspects of human cognition through behavioral and neuroscience experiments and neural network modelling.

For more information about who we are, please see people. To see what we're working on, see projects.

The PDPTool Matlab-based neural network simulator and the associated PDP Handbook are resources we maintain for everyone who is interested in using understanding PDP models and using them for human cognitive science and cognitive neuroscience research.
