Welcome to Parent-Net |

The Stanford University Parents' Network (SUPN) was founded by Marian Lenz to provide a means for better integrating the lives of parents with the rigorous demands of study at Stanford University. Whether student, faculty or staff, the demands of parenting add a critical component of complexity to life at Stanford. Many parents find a support network of other parents helpful to maintaining balance and reducing stress, not only for ourselves, but more importantly, for our children. It is our hope that this site will become your resource for:
- maintaining an active roster of member data - Member Roster
- arranging play groups - Play Groups
- establishing a babysitter referral list
- organizing child care exchange
- locating age appropriate playmates
- creating parental peer support partnerships
- planning welcome parties for new children
- sponsoring social events or group outings
- organizing a cooking cooperative
- providing links to community resources - Community Resources
- developing this web site to better meet needs
- meeting any other needs or conveniences you can think of
Once you have obtained a username and password by joining, you will be able to enter the network by clicking on any of the graphics on this page. For more information on how to join, send e-mail to Andy Hernandez, below.
