Work The work done by a force acting on a body is the product of the force and the distance moved by its point of application in the direction of the force. Work = force x distance, the direction of the force must be parallel to the direction of the distance.

work-units: The data that is sent by Folding@home servers to users running the software. The work-units are pieces that a computer will process in its idle time and then send back to Folding@home.
