Electromyography (EMG) provides an estimate of muscle
activation patterns and can be used in both forward and inverse-dynamics
calculations to calculate muscle forces and joint moments. We are
using this approach to predict muscle forces in lower extremity
muscles of individuals with patellofemoral pain.
