RE: XBox Live

This just came up for us. One of the emails asked for ports 1716, 1717,
1718, 8777 and TCP 20045. They say it's "not working", but I don't see
these ports in Discovered Ports. I can't find (yet) a mention of these
ports in the Xbox FAQ. I did find the 88 and 3074, with this note:

"Is it really necessary for the three ports (UDP 88, UDP 3074, and TCP
3074) to be opened for Xbox Live to work properly?"

"Most cable/DSL routers implement Network Address Translation (NAT), as
does Windows Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). For NAT devices, no port
forwarding is required for Xbox Live to work. Port forwarding is
required only if you are running a proxy server or true firewall instead
of or in addition to a NAT."

Has anyone seen what kind of bandwidth this might chew? I'd like to get
it working on an experimental basis at least.
