Search Limits and PerformanceBecause of performance issues, a user can only submit one full search at a time. Even if the user submits another full search from another machine, the previous search will be cancelled. For quickest results, use as few search parameters as possible, avoid wildcards (*, %, ?, _) and display as few fields as possible.
Node Full Search LimitsThese parameters are known to be out-of-date. Current limits are much bigger.The maximum number of Node records that will be returned is limited, depending on the number of fields to be displayed. Displaying any interface information such as IP address will also cause an additional display field called "Interface #". This additional field counts as a display field in the search limit table below.
