Finding the Employees You Need: An Employer's Toolkit

"In the United States, education and the economy are inextricably linked. Educational experiences are as much structured by the economy as by the educational institutions in which students enroll."

"The Transition from Initial Education to Working Life in the United States of America," A Report to the Organisation for Economic, Co-operation and Development (OECD). Robert Zemsky, Daniel Shapiro, Maria Iannozzi, Peter Cappelli, Thomas Bailey.

This toolkit was designed to help employers find information about the education and skill attainment of the workforce—particularly first time jobseekers. Further, it explores the transition from school to work in the age of the Internet, provides insights into training and retaining the current workforce, and introduces tools and information about assessment, credentialing, accreditation, and licensing.

The categories at left include interactive websites, statistical reports, articles, and other resources.
