BinBin Jiang - Coordinator

BinBin is a senior majoring and co-terming in Environmental Engineering and minoring in Human Biology. Having been involved with NCI for the past 3 years, she strongly believes that programs like NCI are essential to providing students with an informed view of international healthcare. BinBin traveled to Bhopal, India this year to expand NCI's operations to working with a local health organization, Jeev Sewa Sansthan. Because of her interests in sustainable development, she is hoping to integrate the aspects of providing adequate healthcare to individuals with improving livelihoods and public infrastructure for the community in her future work.

Varun Gajendran - Director/Financial Manager/Webmaster

Varun is a co-terminal student completing his master's degree in biomedical informatics. As an undergraduate, he majored in computer science and minored in Management Science & Engineering. He has been involved with NCI for over 2 years and is interested specifically in telemedicine and applying technology to the delivery of healthcare to underserved areas. Having grown up in India, he initiated NCI's expansion into its Indian site in Bhopal to provide students with another perspective on clinical work in South Asia.
