2011 Prof. Bruce Clemens starts his term as the new President of MRS. 2011 Prof. Bruce Clemens named the Walter B. Reinhold Professor in the School of Engineering.

magnetic switching in granular recording media. (Naure, 428, 831, 2004). 2003 Sept
Dr. Robert J. Wilson joined Stanford MSE dept. as a senior research
associate. He will assist Prof. Shan Wang to establish and run the Nanomagnetics
Facility. 2002 June Profs. Wang and Davis (Genetics) are awarded a major grant from US Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) to work on DNA Detection Based on Magnetic Nanoparicle Tags and Magnetic Sensors.
