Christmas Food Drive 1997

Stanford Native American Christian Fellowship

Since Christmas '94, the Stanford Native American Christian Fellowship has held Christmas Food and Toy Drives to provide for needy families in the San Jose area. We have collected donated non-perishable food and toys and transported them to agencies who then distribute donated items to families who are in need.

For Christmas 1997, donated food was brought to the Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley who distributed food baskets to families that requested assistance. Toys were already provided by "The Giving Tree" so NACF focused on the food baskets.

NACF transported the food to the Indian Health Center on the evening of December 17 and food baskets were distributed on December 19 at St. Phillips church.
