Design Strategy Amenable to Combinatorial Optimization.

A modular approach to the synthesis of photorefractive polymers based on grafting of components onto siloxane polymers and post-graft chemical synthesis is presented. The strategy leads to bi-functional photorefractive polymers with net gain and can, in principle, be optimized by combinatorial methods.
