High Performance Photorefractive Polymer with Improved Stability

We introduce a novel photorefractive polymer composite exhibiting a high two-beam coupling gain coefficient (G=200 cm-1 at 120V/mm), fast response time (tg~50 ms at 1W/cm2, over-modulation of diffraction efficiency, and high sensitivity. We discuss how composition and processing have been altered to yield greatly improved material stability.
