- All meeting spaces are smoke free.
- The sponsoring organization is financially
responsible for damage to the facility or lack of adequate
care, which necessitates special custodial services during
use, and nonpayment of room fees.
- Noise conflicts are to be kept to a minimum
and need to be coordinated with spaces in and around the
building. University policy states that amplified sound
is permitted outside only from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Monday
through Friday. Loud noise from parties and dances must
end my midnight, Friday and Saturday.
- Solicitation is not permitted in the building
or on the Tresidder patios. It is permitted, as long as
it follows general University guidelines, in White Plaza.
- There are advertising and posting policies
that pertain to the use of Tresidder Memorial Union. Please
refer to item 8.
- Rooms cannot be booked for rain locations.
PENALTIES FOR MISUSE OF SPACE
Tresidder meeting spaces are considered a
scarce University resource. Failure to use a reserved space
or cancel a space reservation in adequate lead-time typically
prohibits other events from happening in the building. Because
of this large demand, the following actions may be taken if
the rooms are not canceled with an adequate lead-time:
For Regular Events:
- Written Warning
- Loss of scheduling privilege for all TMU
spaces for one quarter
