Myb Protein Localizes to Newly Replicated DNA

Endocycling fat body cells that lack mitoses were stained with propidium iodide for DNA (upper left; blue in lower right); anti-BrdU for newly synthesized DNA (upper right; red in lower right); and anti-Myb antibody (lower left; green in lower right).  Note that Myb protein is present at the highest concentration in cells that are actively replicating DNA.  Furthermore, the Myb protein co-localizes with newly replicated DNA.
