Art and Museum Resources
Arte, Cultura y Comunicaciones en Chile y en el Mundo is an Internet megasite supported by the Chilean government that houses an abundant collection of information on art, culture, and communications in Chile and Latin America. Art sites explore Chilean antiquities, architecture, artisanship, comics, expositions, graphic design, galleries, photography, literature, museums, music, and scenic arts (ballet, opera, theater, and cafes); and culture links examine Chilean cultural centers, history, interactive education, indigenous cultures, libraries, and more. Various cultural actors are linked through this site to inspire creative dialogue with the public.
Artes de México is an online magazine conceived and designed by former CLAS Tinker Visiting Professor Alberto Ruy-Sánchez Lacy.
Casa Mexicana: Folk and Fine Art of Mexico, based in Dallas, Texas, features Mexican folk art that is for sale. The site is also designed as an introduction to Mexican folk art, primarily as a resource for people planning to visit Mexico for the first time.
