Winter Quarter 2003-04 News
CLAS Art Exhibit
CLAS alum Kristina Stevens is displaying her paintings at Bolivar House until 6 March. Stevens worked as the Communications and Editorial Assistant at CLAS and coordinated the Stanford Working Group on Central America. She received a Master's in Latin American Studies upon completing a Master's project, an online educational program on Central American art, funded by the U.S. Department of Education. "Expressions of Central America" was a collaboration with the InCorpore Cultural Association, a network of Central American artists and sociologists and the Stanford School of Education.
Ms. Stevens' art embraces the crossroads between the regional and the universal. It depicts what is unique to Latin America and what is collective, binding all peoples across the world.
We encourage anyone interested to drop by and see Ms. Stevens' work during CLAS business hours. For more information online, please visit http://www.aboutfaces.biz.
