Faculty Summer Preparation Grants
Faculty Summer Preparation Grants will not be available for summer 2009.
These awards of up to $2,000 are intended to fund the summer preparation of future Overseas Seminars, Field Seminars, and other special courses that involve Stanford students in Latin America. Awards include travel and research costs, but no salary offsets.
Eligibility
Any faculty member from a Stanford department or professional school may apply for preparation funding. Preference is given to members of the Academic Council and faculty who are involved in Center activities.
Application Process
Applicants should submit a 1-2 page proposal outlining the objectives and structure of the course; and a budget detailing airfare costs and a per diem allowance (if applicable).
Selection Criteria
Awards will be granted for preparation to be done in Latin America as funds allow.
Duration
These awards are intended for use during the summer for the design of future courses and seminars.
