Dear Korean students at Stanford,

Newly admitted students for the 2012-2013 academic year and more than 400 current KSAS members, you are all more than welcomed to come to Stanford and benefit from various activities organized by KSAS.

KSAS (Korean Student Association at Stanford University) is a nonprofit organization for Korean students at Stanford University that is officially registered under the Graduate Student Council. KSAS provides students with such social events as welcome party for new students, New Year’s Day celebration, and farewell party for graduating students. In addition to these socializing activities, we also help students plan for their future career by holding recruiting sessions and job search workshops.

In order to be a member of this great community and subscribe to the KSAS mailing list, you are invited to come to our annual ‘welcome party for new students’ and sign up if you are new. If you missed it or you are currently enrolled students, please email us at ksas.pr@gmail.com. The Stanford-affiliated email address (@stanford.edu) is required for subscription.

The KSAS for this 2012-2013 academic year aims at contributing to Korean culture at school as a representative organization and helping students to have pleasant campus life as well.

We pledge to

1) give more opportunity to enjoy Korean cultures,

2) organize interdisciplinary events and seminars, and

3) support various socializing activities.

If you would like to request more information or have questions regarding the entire Korean student body at Stanford University (including graduate and undergraduate students), please contact KSAS at our representative address, ksas.pr@gmail.com.

For inquiries that pertain only to the undergraduate students, please refer to the KSA (Korean Student Association) website (http://www.stanford.edu/group/KASA/).

                                                                       Thank you,
