Ramji Srinivasan, MBA Class of 2008, CEO and cofounder of Counsyl, a Silicon Valley startup. Counsyl has developed a relatively inexpensive test that uses saliva to identify individuals who carry genes for any of 100 rare genetic diseases, including cystic fibrosis, Tay-Sachs, spinal muscular atrophy, sickle cell disease, and Pompe disease.
