Welcome, Class of 2013!
International Student Orientation (ISO) is a special reception organized for all incoming international undergraduates by the International Undergraduate Community at Stanford. Over three days preceding the regular New Student Orientation, you get to mingle with your fellow internationals, acquire words of wisdom :) from upperclassmen, and get a head start into the Stanford experience way before the rest of the student body arrives.
ISO activities include a night tour through the vast campus, an entire day of fun at the beach, scrumptious international dinners, activities aimed to introduce the academic life at Stanford, and a shopping trip to stock up on necessities at a nearby mall (see the ISO Schedule for more detail).
In summary, there is no way you want to miss it!
The move in date for international students attending international orientation is the 12th of September, 2009. Just in case Axess incorrectly lists the move in date for you, disregard it. Don't worry about this and plan your flight tickets for September 12th!
