Student IT Services Billing and Payment
Your IT Service charges appear on your University bill. In every month’s bill, you will see a line item for each service you are subscribed to. For information on payments and billing, see the Stanford ePay web site. If you have a question about your IT Services charges on your University Bill, submit a HelpSU Request. Under Category Type, select “Student Services.” Under Request Type, select “Student IT Services Billing.” If you prefer, call the Stanford IT Help Desk at 5-HELP (725-4357).
Billing Disputes
To report an error or dispute an item on your bill, submit a HelpSU request. Under Category Type, select “Student Services.” Under Request Type, select “Student IT Services Billing.” You must report an error in billing within 21 days of the statement date on your University bill. The following charges cannot be disputed and are the responsibility of the subscriber:
- long distance charges incurred using your Personal Billing Number (PBN) from your living unit,
- charges incurred for calls placed to 900/976 service numbers, and …
Wrong Numbers
The telephone system cannot distinguish between correctly dialed calls and misdialed calls. Since you are charged for any completed billable calls you place, please make every effort to dial correctly.
